I am finally getting into some consistent fish. I had a nice Delkim screamer but it was a little too dark to show the fight which it was a great one! I was using CC Moore Gaz Fareham Northern Special Pop Ups in 16mm in yellow with a pva bag full of CC Moore Belachan Stick mix and Shellfish Concentrate. Thanks for watching!

Things are going great in this session. I just did a quick 7 yours session and I got my first fish of the year which was a 31lb 2oz common carp. I then followed it up with a 25lb 8oz fish shortly after. I was using CC Moore Belachan stick mix with liquid shellfish concentrate in a pva bag and had on a CC Moore Gaz Farehams yellow northern special off the bottom around 1/2 inch and also a HNV betaine hookbait popped up the same way. I was definitely pumped to get my first fish and to have it be a 30 was even better yet. Thanks for watching!

I have been doing reviews for a while now. I wanted to review this Trakker product after my last pouch didnt even last 6 months before breaking and I paid around $50 for it! I talked about my initial thoughts and then I will come back later and give a long term review later on.

This video is to explain the Rod pod and bank sticks and all the parts of each and what they do and how to use them. We were all new anglers at some point and I figured going over the rod pod and bank stick would show the features and most importantly show the angler interested in carp fishing what a pod or bank stick is and why you would need one for carp fishing.

In this video I am showing you how to tie the Hair Rig also known as the knotless knot. I show you also what not to do when tying this rig and also how it is supposed to work once you complete tying it. It should flip over in the carps mouth as I demonstrate in my hand. This can be used for carp and coarse fishing or other species as well.

In this video I show how to use a lead clip system and create a bolt rig using this. It is safe for the carp because if you break off the lead will easily pull off and then the carp will not tether the line around.

I have been getting the question a lot lately as to what is a boilie, and how do I make them?

Seeing that our derby is less then a week away I figured now was a good time to do a tutorial on how to make a simple boilie recipe.

I know plenty of other videos are out there, but I wanted one for oue website (www.blackstonecarp.com)

This is a very basic recipe:

Dry Mix:
2 cups dry dog food ground
2 cups flour ( I prefer soy )

Wet Mix:
2 - 4 eggs
1 tsp oil per egg

Mix dry into wet until you have a workable paste.
roll into balls 12mm-18mm
boil 30 at a time for 3 minutes
Air dry 1-2 hours minimum.
