RULES & REGULATIONS
|
Submit up to four of your heaviest COMMON, MIRROR / LEATHER carp
caught from within the region you reside.
Listed below are the Regions:
- Western Region - United States/Canada/Mexico
- Northeast Region - England/Wales/Scotland/Ireland
- Eastern Region - East/West Europe
- Southeast Region - South Africa/Australia
Once the "Open Registration" has been made available to the public,
competing anglers can begin using their TOKS Sheet or TOKS Badge.
NO CARP CAN BE UPLOADED PRIOR TO THE OFFICIAL START OF ANY CONTEST
and ALL FISH MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE END DATE OF EACH CONTEST.
Anytime during a contest, anglers can replace a smaller carp with a BIGGER CARP.
THE WINNERS ARE DETERMINED by TOTAL WEIGHT.

Winter contest

November 15, 12:00am - February 16, 12:00am (U.S. Western time)

APPLIES TO ALL COMPETING ANGLERS
|
|
1.) Using Rod & Reel, this event is strictly Catch, Photograph and Release of Common and Mirror / Leather carp (no catfish, tench,
bream, bass etc...)
|
|
2.) After registering for any of the four contests, YOU MUST PRINT OUT A NEW TOKS TEAM SHEET OR TOKS TEAM BADGE.
Each contest has a different TOKS TEAM SHEET AND TOKS TEAM BADGE.
This will be sent to you via email after registering for a contest.

|
3.) Anglers fishing any legal body of water or any carp fishing event can submit pictures of their fish captures.
THE TOKS SHEET or TOKS BADGE MUST BE DISPLAYED IN ALL THE PHOTOS OF THE FISH ENTERED INTO THE CONTESTS.

4.) Anglers are responsible for updating their own catches and photos. This can be done by logging into your Contest Profile.
(Technical support is available when necessary)

5.) All photos uploaded must display proper
Fish Care.

6.) The only acceptable photos are of anglers holding the fish they caught. You must have the fish in your hands. NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE are photos of fish on the landing mat.

7.)
All anglers must reside within the region they are registered.
If an angler resides outside the region in which they are registered,
the angler will not be awarded any prizes.
|
8.) If an angler is found guilty of deliberately submitting the same photo more than once, the angler could possibly be suspended from the contest.
After a suspension, the angler can rejoin the next contest.

9.) If a fish has "Gone to Trial" and the weight has been found to be "Innacurate", the fish will be removed from the current contest.
IF A SECOND FISH HAS "GONE to TRIAL" AND THE WEIGHT HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE "INNACURATE", THEN THE COMPETING ANGLER WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THE CURRENT CONTEST.
After a suspension, the angler can rejoin the next contest.

10.) Fish uploaded prior to the official start date of any contest will be removed.
Only after the official start of a contest may the fish then be uploaded.

11.) All competing anglers can only submit fish caught in the region they reside. *Effective Date: June 1, 2012*

12.) NO TOKS member can win the "First to Catch 40+lbs / 36.4+kgs" or the "First to Catch 80+lbs / 36.4+kgs" CONSECUTIVELY. *Effective Date: September 1, 2012*

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

We prefer you display ALL FOUR of your fish from LEFT TO RIGHT or RIGHT TO LEFT

A TOTAL OF FOUR PICTURES CAN BE UPLOADED. ONE PICTURE FOR EACH FISH.
** ANGLERS CAN REPLACE A SMALLER CARP WITH A LARGER CARP ANYTIME DURING A CONTEST **

BELOW ARE ACCEPTABLE METHODS WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR CAPTURES

THE HONOR SYSTEM
|
Unfortunately, dishonest anglers will sometimes claim a fish weighs more than it really does.
We ask you to be as honest as possible when weighing and submitting each fish.
APPLIES TO ALL ANGLERS
If an angler submits a fish that appears to be LARGER than it
really is,
then their fish might qualify to STAND TRIAL.
